Alterations Process
Initial Consult (After ordering your gown) - 15 mins
Once you’ve ordered your gown and know it’s arrival timeline, book in your consult fitting for when it arrives. We will talk about the gown’s goals, provide a quote, timeline etc.
At your first fitting, we will try on your gown, undergarments and accessories, talk about any changes you would like to see in your gown and show you how that may look. We will walk you through our alterations plan and book in your subsequent fittings (usually 2-3) in addition to your collection appointment approximately 1 week out from your event date.
First Fitting 60-90 minutes
Subsequent Fittings - 45-60 minutes
This is where your gown may start to look (and feel) different. During your subsequent fittings, we’ll put on your gown, try on any mock ups for size to ensure your comfort happiness with the fit and pin the next stage of alterations. We will confirm your next fittings, and should the need arise, book any extra fittings.
This is where things get really exciting! We will have your gown ready for you to try on, confirm the fit, then pack your gown up, and carry it out to the car for you sending you off ready for your special day!
